Four Weeks to go…

In just four weeks we will be in our run of the last play of the 2018-19 season, Take Away The Lady and that means we will be building our set for our final technical and dress rehearsals in just 21 days time.

I can assure you that the hearts of the cast reading this will have just skipped a beat and tummies had a quick tumble at the realisation.  All part of the fun we put ourselves up for.

It also means that tickets are selling and if you haven’t reserved your seats already then it is time to do so through our normal routes, link below.  We did have a glitch with our email address recently but that is all working again and accepting messages.  Apologies to anyone affected by the recent problems.

Part of the cast in rehearsal this week

Always trying to bring a different mix to our plays, we are ending the season by moving away from the usual comedies and into a straight whodunnit play by Jimmie Chinn.  We previously performed his ‘Sylvia’s Wedding’ a bitter sweet story with humour.  This play, however focusses upon the unexpected return of Matthew from prison, where he was serving a sentence for the murder of his mother, to the family home, where the family gathers and are faced with his claim of innocence and the inevitable question – if Matthew really didn’t kill Mother, who did?
