Costume Sale Day at Hull Truck

Costumes galore
Costumes galore

With Hull Truck Theatre having a massive clear-out of costumes and vintage clothing today, we just had to get there and have a look.  Janet, Jayne and Steve managed to find a few items for the group and for our upcoming play.

Also on sale was the very costume that Hull Truck loaned us for our production of Ladies Down Under.  Steve, who (somehow) infamously wore it for that play declined to purchase it for posterity!

New season programme coming soon

Next month we will be announcing our new programme for late 2015 / 2016, decisions will me made over the next couple of weeks. Its an exciting time where we have to juggle availability of actors, casting requirements, licensing availability and, of course, plays that will entertain and fit all of the above.

Meanwhile why not ensure you are kept up to date with our announcements and be among the first to find out about our new season by simply entering your email in the box on the front page? That way you will simply get an email whenever we update the website – easy!

Quiet….. but active

Yes we are still here. We may be quiet for the moment but we are still active.

The summer break is always a welcome rest from the intensity of rehearsals and creating a production but we are still meeting every week and planning our next season.

This is a period when we have our AGM, read potential plays, do our chores.  We have been clearing out old props and furniture from The Forum and next on the list is a clean up of the outside.

Our President, Chair and Committee members have all been re-elected so its no change for 2016 – see our Committee here

So now we continue with planning our new season.  Watch out for more news and our programme announcement in the next few weeks.
